Wide Angle Examples?

I'm currently evaluating some lens options for a future dSLR purchase. I'm curious if a lens starting at 24mm will be wide enough or if I need to go wider. Is there anyone out there that can post a side by side example (or animated gif) of the difference between 16/17mm versus 24? 1.6 crop or full frame or both, anything is welcome.

Here is one from my efs10-22 taken from pretty much the same view point. Left is at 10mm & right is @ 22. Sorry for the size, just trying to get them side by side on the screen. Hope this helps.

A little vignetting on the 10mm due a cheap generic rubber hood, no problems with the Canon hood.
