Newegg.com - Great experience

I just bought my Nikon D200 w/ Nikkor 18-70mm lens from Newegg.com. I researched vendors very carefully and decided that I would give Newegg a try. It wasn't the lowest price I could find - but reasonable - and they seemed to be the most reputable (Plus, they actually had them in stock!).

I can honestly say that I had a great experience with Newegg. As I said, the price was reasonable, delivery was on time, and I received exceptional customer service after the sale.

I know that others may have a different opoinion, but personally I highly recommend Newegg.

I've placed well over 30 orders from newegg and have yet to encounter a problem. They are usually the best price or within a few dollars and you cant beat their shipping. Three day shipping has always been ontime or like most times early. My fav. pick for online shopping!

I like Newegg too. Except for my most recent order, they've been trouble free. If only the Digital Rebel XTi wasn't coming out, I'd jump on Newegg in a second and grab a silver XT, because it's been $699.99 for a while now and don't know if it'll change soon or not. The identical black XT is $764.99. Silver is the one I want anyways, and it's $65 cheaper, so woot. (and the no-lens versions of the XT are bizzarely priced as well - silver with no lens is $620, while black with no lens is $720. No idea on why the insane differences in price for silver vs black in both kit and no kit).

About my last experience with Newegg though, I ordered two identical hard drives (for a raid 1 array). I only received one. I paid for both and both were listed as shipping together in a box from the same warehouse. When I got the box however, only one drive was in it, and the packing slip said that two were supposed to be there. So I emailed them about it and it got sorted out. Thank god they believed me, cause there's no way i was paying for the second drive twice. I don't know if they've got some special internal tracking for items, or if they simply asked the dude that packed the box, but either way it got sorted out. They did ship it by ground though, when my original order was next day. Lucky for them that I live in CA and the warehouse it was shipping from was in CA too (first order came from NJ or something), so it only took a couple of days to get here.

Anyways, Newegg is definitely a good place to buy from.

Newegg seems pretty good. I've ordered several different things from them before. They seem to let you know what's in stock and have pretty good prices (not the best, but they do often have good packages in lieu of the best price point). The thing that's always impressed me with Newegg is their shipping. They seem to get your stuff to you very quickly. Not sure why that is since they use the same carriers that a lot of places use, I'm assuming they just have a more efficient handling department or something. But it never fails that my Newegg orders arrive in a couple days while my orders from other places arrive at the end of the week. I wouldn't hesitate to recomment Newegg.

With way too many online retailers, next day or 2 day shipping means you'll get your order in 3-5 days because it takes them 2-3 days to process and ship it. :mad: But Newegg = same day shipping. :)
