Hi,
I recently got a powershot A75.

I have now noticed there seems to be something loose in the camera.
E.g. if I hold it up to my ear and turn it through 90 degrees I can hear something moving inside. Like a loose part ?
Is this normal with digital cameras / powershot A75.

It seems to be working ok as far as I can tell.
TIA

I can't say for sure, but I think it's your camera's orientation sensor for automatic photo rotation for photos taken in portrait or landscape mode.

I'm also not sure but i guess TenD is right. My A95 has the same thing.

My new A75 does the same thing.. Well i hope its the same. when rotated it does make a very faint noise at the 45 degree mark. Not a sound of something loose but more like a switch is changing poles

I agree that it is the Auto Orientation feature too. I don't have that camera but my S400 does the same thing.
