Right now i have 4 sets of duracell. 2 sets of 2500s and a set of 2650s.

Tonight i got a set of kodaks and they didnt charge together. They each charged at different times.

I have two sets of kodak and a set of duracells. I LOVE the kodaks. i prefer them over the duracells. The kodaks last much longer in my camera.

I use one set of 2100 mah and one of 2500 mah with my S2, both of which are by Varta. I've never seen anybody mention them here... is it because they're a German company with (probably) little exposure in the US, or is it because they're bad?

They were cheap, $7.50 for a 4 pack. Why anyone would want to use alkalines in a digital camera at this price is clueless. Even if they give me half what the others do thats good enough.

I completely agree. my first kodak set was ten bucks with the charger.. then the second set was like 7 bucks and then i got the duracells with a 15 minute charger.. you'd think alkalines would be near the end of their usefulness by now.

I like energizer but they look to much like their alkalines. Ive used alot of alkalines in my camera before i switched over and i know how they work. When they go dead in the camera they always work fine in other devices so i have them laying around for if i need them for other things like remotes and stuff. I didnt want to get them mixed up so i went with the duracell that look different. That and the small 1 hour flat white charger i liked better then the weird energizer one.

one 4-pack each of energizer 2500 mAh and Sony 2100 mAh. I also have some "Sony" 2300 mAh (bought before Sony ever got 2100 mAh cells!! The same generation of the 3600 mAh "Sonys" that flooded Brazil a couple of years ago) that I use only for my mouse now, and in case the others run out. The charger is a slow but reliable Sony BCG-34HLD.
