BowerR64,
I am stunned, speechless and humbled by your generosity! WOW, You are too much! :)

Shosta, A big big thanks to you also! :)

I am just a newbie learning and being inspired by shots posted by everyone here. Each photo I see is a new lesson for me to learn from all of you.

This is so embarrassing :o I am amazed and truly humbled that you guys like my photos and I honestly feel that " to God be all the glory!". God bless you guys! :)

So you cant explain how you do it? You cant go in the back yard and then take a shot where your standing, then go pick somthing (that might be in the first wide shot) to shoot and explain how you see it, what you look for, how you edit, why you chose that subject. Maybe just simple things can help people see things in a way they might over look.

You seem to just close your eyes, walk around pushing the shutter button and then go inside and turn random shots into works of art. I dont get it. :(

Since I've been reading this thread, I find myself trying to look at things in a different way, looking for the 'hidden' photo that is lurking just out of my conscious reach... that danielg seems to find so easily... And I try to recreate shots posted here, but mine seem to pale in comparison. I think his camera must have been made better than mine!:D

C'mon guys, you are all too much! :o Thank you thank you thank you, I am truly blessed to have people like you guys offering me so much encouragement.

If I am truly as good as you guys are saying, I would be rich making money off my shots but I am not seeing things differently from any of you guys and the S3is I have isn't exactly the best copy. I simply try to visualize how it will look and try to compose the shot as I viusalized it. If it looks good to me then I'm happy with it. I look at a lot of the photos posted here and other places and try to figure out for myself how I can take something similar and usually fail :D

I do add post processing to my shots with PS CS2, usually adjusting exposure, curves and contrast, a little despeckling if there are some noise then some USM, add my name and that's it. No different from anything you guys are doing. But the most important thing for me is the fun factor. I'm having fun. The main reason I sold off my dslr ( after 2 months of dslr experience) and went back to a point and shoot is because I find it much more fun and not have to worry about lenses, dust and whatnots. Just have fun and enjoy what you are doing :D

Once again thank you so much!! May God richly bless all of you :)

BowerR64, I am sure that was meant as a joke because I am more of a backstage kind of person rather than a limelight sort of person in real life. :)

So those of us who haven't gotten our S2/S3's yet are left out for the time being? :(

Danielg takes some outstanding photographs, and he has a natural eye for art and composition. Add to that his humility, and that makes him one of those rare kind of guys like a sports superstar who isn't all stuck on himself. :p

@Karl, It was supposed to be a secret! LOL :D

@Kenen, all of us can learn from each other regardless of what camera we are using. I think the key is observing and learning to work with and around the limitations of our respective cameras. BTW. I see from your signature that you are a fellow Chrsitian. It's always a blessing to meet a fellow Christian :)

@ Dawoofoo, Thanks, you are too kind :)

@ Xailo, What you said is so true. It is nice to share :)

Thanks :) I have been a silent oberserver on the S3 pictures thread for some time now. My head is filling w/ theory, I guess I'll have to wait to see when my S2 comes in how well I can practise it... ;)
