Wish the S3 had a manual focus like the pany. I like how that super zoom has a switch you can turn the auto focus off and then adjust it by hand.

A hot shoe.

Thats all. :D

I like the hot shoe i think its a sony, the onboard flash is just infront of the hotshoe and flips up if the an extrenal flash isnt on.

The manual focus doesnt seem that hard to add.

I wish it had anti-gravity!

Seriously, in addition to the two you mention, better ISO 800 performance would be nice as well. Can you say S4? :D

I agree with the hotshoe , better ISO 800 and the Manual focus ring. With a manual focus ring built-in, I hope that it also means built-in filter thread so that we don't need to buy an adapter tube. But that will mean a bigger camera footprint. :(

An LCD that's atually capable of letting you know your not in focus. No video time limit even though I don't really use it. lol G6 quality lens. Decreased shutter lag. Real ISO 1600 I know they can do it... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahah aahahaahahahhahahahahaahahahhahahaahahhahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... hey I'm serious quit laughing with me. :D A remote and bulb would be nice... S4 oh yeah

Well ISO is always a plus, I think thats 2 things you can never have enough of zoom and ISO.

I forgot about that, a remote would be cool.

I dont really mind a bigger footprint i just like all the features it has. With super macro and 12X zoom. I just see a few things on other super zoom cameras and wish the canon had them.

It's all there, in the title... if these two could be improved... I'd be a lot happier with it.

In order of preference:

Lower price.
Smaller size.
MPEG video.
An Optical VF.
Power Off button was also the On button instead of that tiny stick you flick to turn it on.
Playback/Record switch like the A's have instead of that tiny stick you flick.
Extended zoom like the Pana's have.
A 3MP setting.

larger vari angle display.

a REAL ISO 800 setting... better ISO performance all around.

I'd keep the vf as is- just improve it.. i thought i'd want an optical one until my vacation last week..

metal tripod mount

RAW format option..

If the custom self timer didn't count down then take all shots sequentially. IE.. put it on ten seconds at four shots.. it'd wait ten take a shot wait ten.. take another etc. but that's just based off my preconception and misunderstanding of how the self timer worked on this cam.

the ISO performance is my only real gripe, the rest is kinda petty and unimportant and standing alone, would not make me upgrade.
