Nothing special, but I like it... I had to rest my camera on something on its side, so I am sorry that the picture looks a tad crooked ;).
I really could use a good but light and compact tripod.

12-24mm Tokina at 12mm on 1.6x crop 350D, 1/6 sec, ISO 800, f4.

Sun going down behind the low distant clouds, it looks a bit like mountains to me.

Looking to step into the uncharted world of proctology photography?????

LOL -- sorry, couldn't resist!!!

Nice shots tho. I really like the look of #2 as the light just kisses the tips of those clouds!!

Nice stuff, but as you note, ISO 800 seems uncalled for. Wouldn't you have been able to hand hold this one at ISO 200? Maybe you could have dropped from f9 to 7?

Interested in your thinking here...

Nice stuff coldrain! I like the first one due to my landscape (or skyscape...) bias -- maybe lop off some more of the sky though.

What flash or lighting did you use for the 3rd one?

I have no reason at all! I seem to have forgotten to set it. I know some shadowy pics before it called for ISO 800 since it was a bit windy. BUt for this shot it is just weird. What is even more weird is that there is almost no noise, I didnt realize it till I looked up the exif!

noyjimi, the light used was the sun.

Love the colours in the first one Coldy, great composition with the cloud-line running out of the corner diagonally too.

Tell me is this framed in-camera or a crop?:p ;) :D

f3.5 silliness...

90mm, f3.5, 1/800 sec, ISO 200.

Below a 100% crop.

12mm with pol filter.

Nice! Is the pol the reason for the dark band?

Yes, the circular darkening in the middle is caused by filtering the polarized light.

(for the less bright: my contour in the cold rain drops... ;) )
