I cant believe they fixed it up!
I got this camera used off e-bay in my early canon camera collecting days. I had a total of about 5 A70s at one point and i robbed parts of this camera for the others that i fixed up and sold back on e-bay. Out of all the cameras this one was the absolute worst. The case was just all busted to hell, the screen was scratched up, it was missing the front shutter lens cover parts AND the chrome ring around the lens. The lens mechanism was binding really bad and every day i used it i thought for sure it was going to fail. The CF socket had broken pins i super glued back in then soldered back in. You name any problem this camera has seen it.
So i get it back and it looks good as new. They replaced everything free. It still has some flicker in the preview but i can live with that.
