water damage

Has anyone had a camera recover from being dropped in water? Does an SD400 that has met this fate have any value at all?

just dont use it for a few weeks. let it air dry, the longer the better. take the battery out, remove the memory and the button batter leave all the doors open in a window ledge.

Ive dropped a few things in the water and after a few weeks of letting it dry i couldnt tell it had been wet.

The worst thing you can do is try and turn it on with water dripping out of it.
