Camera Got Wet!

Hi Everyone.


I need some help..I had my camera in my purse and my water bottle opened up and got all over my camera. I took the batteries and the memory card out. I tried opening it to dry it under my fan, and still nothing. Will my camera still work?? What should I do to try and fix it?? Any help would be great

DO NOT TURN THE CAMERA ON YET!

You've done the correct things so far. If you have some dessicent (those little packets of stuff packed in electronics when they are shipped to keep things dry) throw them in a bag with your camera and let it sit until completely dry.
