View Full Version : Alot of static noise wen in video mode HP R607
I am experiencing alot of this static popping noise wen im in record mode with my HP R607 4.1 megapixel camera.....does anyone else have this problem or is this just how these camera's arE? when there is a loud sound in the video it basically jus distorts out and all u hear is this popping noise....I realize its not supposed to be a real camcorder but my friend has a Sony older then mine and his video mode is clearer with perfect sound.....can anyone help me? or give me any tips on how to get this to stop or at least reduce?
Anyone??? I would greatly appreciate it

Hi - I (think I) got the same. But I checked my old Sony DSC P5 Videos and such a sound was already there.
The noise is the mechanical movement of the lens when you zoom while in record mode.
My recommendation in this case is: Don't Zoom while in REC mode - set the cam to the zoom level before the recording and then leave it... Except you are going to lay another sound to your pictures anyway when you work with it in software. Or if you like this 'amateur-style' of having this sound in your video ;-)) (guess noone does...)

The thing is I dont zoom it cant even zoom in record mode to be honest lol you think trying to cover the area where the sound records......might help?
