I've read a lot of reviews, now I'm confused. Which one should we buy the A95 or A80? Somebody's selling us the A95 for a really low price, but I've also read some of the not so good qualities of the said cam, like the purple fringing, etc. Please help.

I can recommend the A95. I can see what people mean when they talk about purple fringing, but it's not a show stopper. I think the reason it's more noticable on A95 images is due to the higher resolution that the A95 has than the A80/A75, rather than due to any fault in the lens. When comparing the same resolution photos from both (ie, with A95 not at the full resolution) the fringing looks the same.
I have tested the A95 vs. S60 and I found the A95 picture qualtity was almost identical to the S60. Some reviews complained about PF on the A95 but the A80 is not PF free. Now you can buy the A95 at the same price as the A80 and you will get a 2.5" LCD and 5Mpixels. That's a huge advantage over the A80.

its a 1.8 inch TFT on the A95 not a 2.5inch one :)
Purple fringing isnt a problem and if it bothers you it is really easy to remove, Paint Shop Pro 9 can even remove it for you.
