Why are there so many elphs on ebay that were "lightly dropped" that ceased working? is there something inherently delicate with with canons that make them a poor choice? My Pentax has been dropped a few times with no harm only to the Altoid box lol. why so many dead elphs? My little elph2 35 film camera could be drop kicked all day long and keep going but the sd' s seem to just die of fright. thanks for your thoughts. Maybe 18 is Canon's lucky no. Lizardtrack

Wish there was a way to see the number of canon cameras sold in the US. I know there is a forum that has a list of cameras that forum users own and canon smokes every other brand listed.
I wonder if it has somthing to do with the design of the case? i mean there really is no grip on the camera at all. The A series has that little grip that your fingers can wrap around. Also the wrist strap helps i always use the wrist strap with my a series.
Have you ever just did a search for "canon as is" there are more older A series cameras that i see.

I was wrong, i remember looking a few months ago and canon was the top selling camera by the users on that forum.

Maybe that's why more people get hurt in Fords than Jaguars.

Whats weird is how many people have an olympus:confused:
What camera do they have that is good? is it SLR cameras? or do they have a good P&S out?
remember this is a photography forum so its not like it gives a good result of world sales its just the people registered and who took the time to fill out all the info.
