hey everyone. i stumbled across this site while looking into a new camera for myself, but am hoping you can offer some advice on my current dilema.
the camera in question is my girlfriend's DSC-P32. i gave her the camera as a gift last christmas. last weekend we used the camera for a few things, and upon getting it out of the car, the lcd isn't functioning  the best way to describe it would be like it had an image burn in (not the problem, but closest symptoms). the camera is still functional as it can take pictures, turn on and off, and the menus even navigate (at least i hear them, haha). obviously the camera is out of sony's WONDERFUL (smell the sarcasm?) 90 days of labour included warranty, so i'm nervous what will happen when they quote me some outrageous price when i call tomorrow. does anyone have any advice on what the problem could be, what to expect, and possibly ways to fix this myself (i'm very capable of working with electronics, just new to the world of cameras).
thanks VERY much in advance for helping a newbie to your boards. i'm very glad to have found this resource. THANKS!
