Have'nt bothered to spend the money on Adobe or anything like that. I find I like the Arcsoft that come with my FZ-10 better than HP Imaging or Microsoft Picture It! that I have. Would like to just get used to the one instead of flipping back and forth to work with pictures but the one problem I've run into is that I can change a picture to negative format or sepia in Arcsoft but not black and white. Any help? Any opinions on what others think of Arcsoft would be appreciated.

Photoshop is so much better than ArcSoft.

Photoshop is so much better than ArcSoft.

Or more affordably and easier to use: Paint Shop Pro.

And PS Elements 3 is much different than elements 2.
More powerful and I think more user friendly.

Or there's the FREE option - The GIMP! Download it from:

http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/

The GIMP was developed for Linux, but has been ported to Windows. It supports Photoshop plug-ins, and has way more power than I've learned to exploit (yet). Worth a look before spending big $$ on Photoshop...

hi,

I use

Photoshop is more professional and has good output but a bit difficult to use. On the otherhand Paint Shop Pro is much much easier to use and has good effective output, lof of features are there in lastest version. you can download a trial version in website and try. Also Ulead Photo Impact is much much better and can create more creative effects to photos in v v simple steps. Trial version for this also available on web. I hv not used much of arc soft software though i got the software while purchasing DV cam as well as Still Cam coz i find the above mentioned softwares are much more then arc soft.
