I have read the reviews here and it seems the F10 is a better choice.
Which one would be a better choice for image quaility? It seems a no brainier that an 9 megapixel would be the better choice.
If you could choose either camera for the same price, what would be you choice?
Thanks to all !!!!!!

I am not sure. but I can say megapixels does not detremine how good a pciture is unless you are making a poster size image or something. 9mp will look the same as 5,6,7,8 mp cameras in a small print like 4x6 or 5x7. If itis possible I think I would recommend the Fuji F30. it seems more expensive than the f10 and I am not sure if it is much more expensive than the e900.

I would take the E900 because it has more zoom, a VF, full manual controls, AA batts, better grip, and more MP. But they aren't the same price, the E900 cost $100 more, right? That's because it's better.

On the other hand, the F10 is more compact, has longer battery life, and has a focus assist lamp, which I find comes in very handy in certain situations, e.g. night portraits. I always like the idea of full manual controls, which the E900 has. If I didn't already have an SLR I might have been tempted to go for the E900, but the features of the F10 were more important to me, especially as a supplemental camera.
I would also recommend the F30, but I'm assuming that there is a reason why your choices are restricted to the F10 and E900.

coudl you please state why your restricted to those cameras? because like I said the F30 is probably your best bet and costs the same as the E900. in other words get the f30 unless you are restricted by a contest or something.

Thank you all for taking time out and sending a reply. I have an opportunity to buy either camera at the same price. It seems the E900 is a better deal and provides more flexibility. I guess it all comes down to a compromise. I really like the size of the F10 and the bigger LCD.
I used to do a lot of shooting so I think the opportunity to have more control of my shots is the biggest plus.
Again thank you all !!!!:)
