I have a thing for cars and cameras, so can anyone help me get a fix:p

What I am trying to source is one of the suction cup camera mounts.

Any clues as to where to find one

I think I saw some solutions to that on the Manfrotto web site. I think I recall one that clips to a partially rolled down window too.
