We've got an E-10 and an E-20 that have been having trouble powering up. You turn them on and nothing. (batteries aren't the problem) The E-10 just came back from repair and the E-20 just went in for the third time this year. It never even got used before it went bad again. When it was picked up after repair this last time, the guy at the camera shop where it was sent it from turned it on and off several times. One of those times it wouldn't come back on but then did again after another try. The camera sat for a couple weeks unused and then when it was time to use it, it wouldn't power up again. Does anybody out there know of a defect or recall on these cameras?
The last time the E-20 was sent in they must have replaced it with another camera because it now has a different serial number but on the E-10 picked up today they replaced the PCB. Fortunately after paying the initial repair cost, the other repairs are covered by a 90 day repair warrantee but it doesn't do much good when you need the camera and it's in the shop or if it happens to last past the 90 days before breaking again.
