I have a canon sd500 and love it... but the only problem is the 30 second movie recording limit on the camera. Its annoying to have to constantly press start and stop all the time. Is there a way to fix this? or what other canon cameras are there that do not have a 30 second movie recording limit? Thanks.

According to the Canon PowerShot SD500 specifications page (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelTechSpecsAct&fcategoryid=145&modelid=11157), individual movie clip length is supposed to be limited to 3 minutes.
What capacity SD card are you using?

Already answered in this thread (http://www.dcresource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22638). The limit you are hitting is due to a slow memory card, not something in the camera. The SD500 should fill the memory card or stop at the file limit of 1 Gig, whichever comes first.
