* What budget have you allocated for buying this camera? Please be as specific as possible.

No more than $400

Size

* What size camera are you looking for? Or does size not matter at all to you?

The smaller the better! I want this to be a pocket camera!

Features

How many megapixels will suffice for you?

Needs at minimum 4 megapixels

* What optical zoom will you need? (None, Standard = 3x-4x, Ultrazoom = 10x-12x, Other - Specify)

Standard is fine, but the more the merrier :)

* How important is “image quality” to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10)

Pretty important, I would say 8

Do you care for manual controls?

Not too much, maybe if there is controlling shutter speed and such

General Usage

* What will you generally use the camera for?

Travelling, general use, maybe use as a substitute for a scanner :D

* Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?

Maybe a couple

Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?

Yes


Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos?

Yes, alot

Miscellaneous

Are there particular brands you like or hate?

I would prefer Canon or Sony but I don't "hate" any brand

Are there particular models you already have in mind?

Sony T7, Casio Ex-S600

(If applicable) Do you need any of the following special features? (Wide Angle, Image Stabilization, Weatherproof, Hotshoe, Rotating LCD)

Wide angle and image stabilization are always a plus!
