Im going to be attending school in Japan for a year and wanted to buy a camera that i can take plenty of pictures and videos. What i am most concerned about is video quality. but here is what im mainly looking for
Budget: less than 500
Features: great videos....if possible to be able to zoom while recording, good pictures nothing to be viewed on a tv but mostly posting on websites and sending via email..being as compact as possible, im going to be in Japan and will be traveling the country and would not like the biggest camera in town, also battery life is very important
Image quality: 8 (i could be wrong but im thinking up to a certain point you really cant see the pictures getting that much better, but what do i know; thats why im asking for your help
A few models that i had in mind were the: Canon a620, a700, SD630 and then the Sony DSC-N1, and W100.
