just earlier today i was taking photos and my camera was working just fine, but through the day, towards evening, my camera started taking photos really slow even at high Shutter speed. usually i can take a photo and just keep releasing the shutter and will be fast but now, theres a lag in between before i can release the shutter again. i tried my other lens but its doin the same thing. could it be the body? at first i thought it was because the battery was running low, but i let it charge for a little more than an hour. then popped it back in and still experiencing the same problem, i know the battery isnt fully charged in just an hour. is it that i have to wait till its fully charged? please give advice on how to fix this.

Lesson learnt.
That is more important than any advice we can give..

I wish I had a buck for every time I accidentally switched the D70 to full manual (normally I use AP), and swore at the camera only to notice my error. Glad to hear you found the problem was similar to mine... the loose nut behind the shutter...;)
