Lumix FZ30K Max SD card??

I recently bought Panasonic Lumix FZ30K, and according to the spec, the max SD memory card supported is 2GB. Has anybody tried 4GB on this camera? Does it fully support it? Any problem with it? Thanks.

2GB is the max you can do on the FZ30 because it's a FAT16 system. FAT32 has the ability to go larger than 2GB.

I tried a 4 gig card in my FZ30, it didn't work. Or rather it worked but would only recognize 2 gig for the reason treed already said.

The new FZ50 is supposed to support the 4 gig cards.
