tz1 softwear setup problem with Mac

Help! I have a Mac, and when I insert the setup CD, the setup menu doesn't appear on my screen. I have no way to install the softwear. Thanks for any help you might give me.

Get a real computer.......just kidding......but John Reed is a Mac user and I am sure he can help you.
What is it you think you need off that CD....that the Mac can not already do.
I use a PC and I never install the CD that comes with cameras.
Not with the Panasonic cameras anyway.....IMHO, nothing worth a darn on them.

I own a PC but I've heard great things about iPhoto so maybe you should give that a try whether you get the CD to work or not. The only think I took off the CD was the panorama assist software. Google's Picasa (http://picasa.google.com/) works like a charm for everything else.

I never installed the ArcSoft formally, but just downloaded Panorama Maker from the software on the disk. I can download photos to iPhoto by just connecting the SD card through the camera USB connection or a USB reader. iPhoto will open up automatically for downloading whenever you plug in an SD card. So why worry about the supplied software? I don't.

I have heard good things about Picasa, but it only runs on Windows PC machines, not on the Mac.
