The other thread got me thinking, and I'd better not take it over, so here's my version. Jessops do a good deal bundling their cameras with bags - the D50 I'm hoping to get comes with a Lowepro Micro Trekker 200, if you buy the package. Having not actually seen this thing in action, I'd like to know what kind of beast it is.
I'm used to cases whereby the strap on the camera comes out of the top of the case. Now, given that this is an SLR and I'll need space for lenses and so on, does this kind of case even exist? It would probably be best, but might not work seeing as they look best suited for compacts, or superzooms.
So, basically, I'm after something approaching that in size and design - something that can be worn off the shoulder or 'round the neck, and which has space for a body with lens attached, and another couple of lenses, plus bits and pieces. (Some site somewhere had "plus lunch," although I don't think that would be necessary ;))
The only real problem I foresee with a backpack style bag is that I often wear one anyway when I'm out and about, so something I can't sling around my neck means sacrificing that.
