Hi, I have a Fuji Z1 that I bought last June in Japan. It no longer turns on. At first I had no idea what was wrong, but then I discovered that when I plug it in and put it on the base it will turn on. So my assumption is that for some reason the slider is not turning it on.
I have taken it to local camera shops and they have said the same thing -- that they would have to send it to Fuji. But then when I tell them I bought it in Japan they have said that Fuji will not touch it because of "gray market cameras." So I guess I was just wondering if anyone has encountered this problem. I've done some searching online and haven't found anything to help.
