Maybe it's a HIGH expectation, but will this compare with Fuji F30 on high ISO [let just say up to 800]?

It looks the most serious looking compact, in my opinion. I'm in love with the huge lens. :)

It was too much of an expectation. ISO800 is rubbish.

While the ISO800 pic IS noisy, I just wonder how often one would actually expect to push a compact digicam to ISO800, or 1600 and expect to get really good shots. Apart from the Fuji F30, which handles low light exceptionally well, I don't think any other compact digicam comes close.
I'm no expert, so, I'm posing this question to the experts (especially Jeff). If one were to use the LX2 primarily in RAW mode (sticking mainly to ISO100 - 200) and use Adobe CS to PP the shots, would this be a great camera? For those times when you have absolutely now other way to capture a low light shot and get a 'watercolor' image at ISO 800, i guess that might be ok?
Thoughts??
