S5000 telephoto lense

I am a bit of a novice but have a very good S5000 and would like to add to it a DCR 2020 Pro 2.2 x telephoto lense. Firstly, I am not sure that it is compatible. Secondly, is this the most powerful yet appropriate telephoto to buy for this camera. I take a lot of long shots - especially of moving aircraft.
Any help greatly appreciated.
