is SanDisk 1GB worth buying?

CompUSA is selling SanDisk 1GB compacflash and SD at $25. Its regular price is $59.99. Is it a good deal? Some user reviews said its write too slow and recommended buying other brands instead. Thanks for input.

That's a great deal for current model SD.
That depends which Sandisk model. Easiest thing to do is check what speed your camera actually needs (MB/s) and buy something at least that fast. afaik, a 66x card will handle all consumer grade cameras - including dslrs. If your camera is more than 1 yr old you don't need even that much.
