Is it a good buy of extreme III CF for Canon A95?

I have a Canon Powershot A95 with a Lexar 512 MB compact flash memory card. I'd like to get a bigger memory card. Will Canon A95 take full use of Extreme III card or it is a waste of money? What is the bang for my buck, 1GB regular CF card, or 1GB ultra II or extreme III? Will ultra II or extreme III card help speed up my camera shots? Thanks for the help.

Waste of money, that camera can't take advantage of that type of memory card. It'll work fine, but you won't notice any speed difference. At this point it probably makes sense to buy a "fast" memory card, something like the Ultra-II, but even that is really pushing the abilities of the A95. It's certainly not going to speed up your shot to shot or burst mode. But, it'll download faster to your computer, and that's work a few bucks.
