New Sigma 70-300mm APO DG

today i recieved my Sigma 70-300mm APO DG lens and am very satisfied and made a really good choice. heres a few test shots i did of my son and 2 macro attempts. please let me know what you guys think. i did no post processing this is all original.

Erad, congrats on the new lens! My own Sigma 70 - 300 mm APO DG is supposed to come Wednesday, so I am really interested in your experiences. My favorite was #3. I really like how you can see the detail in the top of the leaf. Have you tried printing that shot?

I've had similar shots with my kit lens where I could see the detail on the screen, but it didn't show up in the printed version. I get the prints at Walmart, and the print quality has seemed fine otherwise, so I think it is my shot, not the printing that is causing the problem.

Anyway, if you do print it, will you post and tell how it looks? And have fun Zooo--oooming with your new lens!

yeah i will let you know how it comes out in the prints. ive used walmart for some prints before, but i like to print them from my own printer, the Epson Picturemate 4x6.
