Hello. I'm not very good with cameras.. sorry if this has been asked before. Anyway, I have a DSC-S90 and whenever I turn it on now, it says "access" with a blank, black screen. Not only that, the camera lens won't come back in, it's just stuck out there. When I turn it on, I can hear it making some kind of noise also. It really sucks! What do you think is going on? :(

The mem card may not be seated correctly... so that's where I'd start. :)

SONY memory stick.
Okay... it's not in there... I suspect we are talking "toasted" internal memory, then. Have you tried accessing the camera from a PC to see if there is a photo directory of images?
Also... consider replacing the batteries... they may just be low.
If the is camera is out of warranty, it may not be worth repairing. At $300... replacement would seem to be more advisable.

I can't even plug it into the USB thing. The thing that you stick into the camera is really loose! :( This is horrible, lol. Anyway, the main problem is the lens or whatever is stuck right now.. and it won't close. Does that have to do with the internal memory thing too? lol (Sorry, I'm so hopeless!)

It's all that lol doing it.
Vicky, try asking a knowledgeable person to have
a look at the camera, bring the manual with you.
Seems like a simple solution will be found for you.
No more lol!
