I am wondering if when the camera is focasing, I should here clicking noise. It is loud enough to be picked up by the speaker when in movie mode. Also is there any way to turn off the post shot review completley, I see how to change it from 3 to 1.5 but not how to turn it off.

Yes.

It is loud enough to be picked up by the speaker when in movie mode.

...but I have not experienced this with either my F10 or my F30. I just took a sample movie to listen for focusing noises, and I didn't hear anything when I played back the movie.

Also is there any way to turn off the post shot review completley, I see how to change it from 3 to 1.5 but not how to turn it off.

I don't see any way to turn off the post-shot image display either.

I get it to make the noise during when switching from different light sources (floresent and incandesent) and drastically different distances. I am guessing it is having to refocas so if that noise is normal during focasing then that is what it is. As long as it is not gears stripping out or my camera breaking.

the f30 wont focus while recording a movie, only before. (:mad: :mad: )

You must be hearing it change aperature.

I just tried it on mine, it makes a rather loud clicking sound when changing light source. (not audible while recording, but comes on very loud in the video.)

Ok, I am just learning about my camera, and cameras in general. This is my first one that I have used where you do more than hit the picture butten. So I appologize for and stupid questions/comments.

The F30 does seem to have the loudest continuous focus mode I've ever heard.
