Is there a way to take pictures in RAW with the S5200 or is the best quality 5MF?

Yes of course, in the shooting menu 1 (or2 ?) you've got the option RAW on or off. It should be in the "F" button but is not , but if you set it RAW it stands even if you turn off the camera, which is a very good thing.
It makes a real difference with Best Jpeg quality.
