Hello I'm New To The Slr Camara World, But Do Like Photography Very Much. What I Use Now It's Just A Sony Cyber Shot 6-mega Pixels.
1.---which Camara Would You Recommend Between The Canon Rebel Or The Nikon D70. I'm Willing To Spend About 1,000 Including A Lens Which Could Maybe Be Closer To A 10x Zoom.
2.---i Heard That With The Nikon I Have More Options If I Want To Go For The Long Run, Is This True?
3.---will The Mega Pixels Be A Big Factor Here Being That One Has 6 Compared To The Other That Has 8 I Think?

Thanks In Advance

1. Which ever camera you like, both are great cameras. Choose based on the lenses you want, though.
2. No. Both systems provide plenty of options.
3. The difference is minimal, no real need to worry about it.

I don't know what kind of experience you have, but as a beginner I have learned that even a mediocre camera can produce excellent images when used properly. Both those cameras are excellent, and if you are a beginner like I am, chances you will be producing very similar images with both cameras.

I was debating the same thing when I got my D50 and decided on the Nikon because it was slightly cheaper. I put the money I saved towards good lenses and never looked back.

Thank U For The Info. I Got The Nikon D70. It Came With A Small Lense. My Question Is About The 200mm Nikon Lens Which I Saw For $250.00 Or Is There Another Name Brand That Will Give Me Better Or Same Results For Less Money? And Also What Is The (zoom) Convertion From 200mm To Feet?

Thank You
