Hello,

I am a mere novice at Digital photography. I am finding that I need to take some pics at work. My needs are special, I am hoping I could get some peer feedback as to what fits my needs the best.

I need to "clip" pictures into our software.

I need something that takes a picture and puts it directly onto the Windows clipboard. I don't want to have to copy it from a folder or anything manual like that. My users are typically not very computer educated. Once the image is "clipped", I press a function key and then my software application will "grab" the clip and upload the image to the student's file.

From my experience I don't think a camera is setup to do this. But a webcam will. Issue with that is the poor quality of the webcam.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

A webcam is best if you want images that will directly go onto your clipboard. However, you will need to install this, it is not very difficult.
If you want fantastic images then buy a really good digital camera, I recommend you buy a webcam, you can pick them up for around £15, they will work just as well.
I hope I've helped.
