Anyone with a canon EOD can help me here?

Anyone know the size of the end caps for the EOS cameras? in this image there is a lenscap set i want to get for my camera but im not sure if the end cap will fit. Right now im using 49mm push on front caps but they are a little cheezy. I wanted somthing that had a little better fit.

If you notice in the picture the endcap has a taper so they will push on or push into an open back lens like what i have.

Anyone have one of these can measure them for me and give me an idea the size?

Can you see how the middle one has a similar shape as the yellow lensmate cap i have? it is a friction push in type. It fits nicely on the back of the lensmate tube.

I thought maybe these would fit, if you look at the size of the front lens cap it looks very similar in size but i thought maybe some one here could measure or test the rear side of an EOS lens to see if it was near or around 49-58mm i dont have an SLR so i dont know.

Its kind of hard to judge the scale of the e-bay picture, (first image) i dont even know if the cap in the picture is a 58mm. The box says 58mm next to the canon lens cap but that does not mean it is. Thats why i wanted some help from some one who actualy has an EOS mounted lens. I thought maybe they could measure it, try a 49mm cap or somthing and see how close they are in size.

The cap is too big and hard plastic, and will not at all be suitable for what you want to use it for.

I really like the Tamron lens cap. It pinches open. Nice for reaching into a hood and a lot meatier, yet still light.
