what's with load-in?

I shot 920 pictures on a D50 Nikon and loaded them into a folder. They loaded in ok for awhile, but after 599, started getting out of the shot sequence. What made this happen, and what can be done to prevent it if anything?

not sure about the cause of your files being out of sequence, but you can right click inside the folder they are going in, and click on Arrange Icons By > Name

that should do it!

At some point it stopped using 3 digit numbers and went to 4 digits, and went up by tens, so I don't know if that would work, because the digits went to are in sequence. But why did it go to 4 digit numbers and assign them to go up by tens instead of ones?
