Cybershot DSC-S90-focusing problem

Hey, I'm kind of camera stupid, and some of my pictures are coming out very fuzzy. Sometimes its the people in the centre and sometimes its the whole picture. I'm guessing it has something to do with the focus, so I played around with it and I probably just messed it up more. Please Help!!!!!!!!! and thank-you!

make sure the "MACRO" function is turned off.

umm:) ...
find a button that looks like a flower.
and then press it to turn it off.
press it again to activate it.

I still am having problems with the camera focus. I do not like fuzzy pictures!!!!!!!!!! Any suggestions would be much appreciated-thanks
