View Full Version : Please help: Blur images in Twilight mode using sony DSC W5

Hi All,
Please help me with this, I am having Sony W5 and when ever I tries to use Twilight mode for night photography I gets blurry:( images no matter I use tripod or keep camera on standstill place, also I face this problem when I am not using flash in indoor shooting:confused: is there any setting in manual mode which can work out to get perfect images in twilight mode, Please do let me know. Also I didn’t understand use of EV value :eek: please let me know same too.

maybe the object was moving when you took pictures.
cause at slow shutter speed, a little shake / a little movement will cause blur image(s).

Twilight mode probably uses a slower shutter speed. If your subject is moving, it will be blurry even if you use a tripod. There's no way to freeze a moving subject at slow shutter speed. There's just not enough light in those situations unless you use a flash.

If your subject isn't moving, try using the self-timer on your camera to allow the vibrations you create when you hit the shutter release to die down. Even small motions from your hands will show up in the image.

Press Menu, then select the highest ISO number.
This will give you faster exposure times, there is a
trade off however, the pictures will show some noise.
