Just purchased a D70s and it's great. Very happy with purchase.
I am though trying to work out how to set-up the camera so I can take a series of shots that will later be stitched together to creat panoramas.
I'd like to lock white balance, exposure, shutter speed & focus.
The AE lock function appears to only lock for one photo, as soon as shutter is released, the lock in disengaged. Ideally what I would like is to be able to lock in the settings until I decide to un-lock them.
I can use manual mode and do it myself, but there is probably an easy way.
My old Coolpix 995 had this feature, so I'm thinking that the D70s does as well, I just don't know to use it.
Any advice?

Well... I do not have a D70... but I guess the obvious candidate would be just putting your camera in full manual so you choose the shutter speed and aperture yourself, and they will then not change from shot to shot. Also, just put the white balance to for instance sunny day setting, then it will not vary from shot to shot either.

That is what I do with my D50.
