Lense problem dmc-lz5

I'm getting vignetting around my images on the widest aspect. If i soom in a little the dark halo arount the image goes away. Does anyone know of this problem?
Because it has progressed and the camera is 2 months old.

It would help to see a photo of what you are describing but all cameras have a vignette (slight darkening of the corners)...and ultrazooms are worse....and its worse the darker you view the photo on the monitor.It also is worse if you overcorrect an improperly exposed photo.

Most photo editors include a tool to correct the condition.....or you can dodge the corners a bit if it bothers you.

while I do not have a FZ5, the other FZ cameras have this darkening.
If your problem is worse than I tried describing perhaps there is another problem but seeing a photo would help us.
