I'm thinking of buying the F30, but I have two concerns: The purple fringing seems to be pretty bad, so can this be corrected with the Fuji-software in post processing? And is the movie quality better than on the F10/F11 (which lacked smoothness).

What do you mean by "lacked smoothness"?

It's difficult for me to explain the movie problem (I'm a beginner and a Norwegian), but when the F10/11 tries to adjust to different light conditions when filming, there are noticable (and irritating) "jumps"/"lines", like the camera is suddenly trying to catch up to the darker or brighter light all the time. It doesn't have a clean image that should be there.
So I wonder if this movie quality problem is fixed with the new F30? The sample movie clip at dcresource's F30 review site looks good, but it is too static to reveal any possible problem.
And what should I do with the F30's purple fringing, if I decide to buy the camera? I really don't like P.F., so is there any way around this problem, other than purchasing expensive software with P.F.-removal?

Try using -1/3 EV (or more if necessary) exposure compensation, or using a smaller aperture. Fortunately the F30 does have an aperture priority mode that allows you to do the latter. I've tried both methods and they do a good job at reducing the purple fringing, although it isn't entirely eliminated.
