I understand we all have our preferred brand and such. I understand there are some brands that give us problems or could be incompatible. There might be some that are good for the first year or so and then starts to give problems. Let us know which brands/types to avoid on this sizzling camera and which brand you recommend.

We all know pictures say a thousand or more words.. and it would really suck if we went on a trip to Germany and go to print the pictures and find your SD Card to be unreadable.. you cant really go back to Germany again and take the same pictures.. its just not the same

So please help us all avoid such problems and issues by letting us know the best and most reliable brands/types from entry level to performance.

I will start by recommending the Kingston 1GB SD Card (standard speed)
and the Sandisk Ultra II for more performance.

Same here no problem so far:cool:
I would like to add a reader is probably a good thing to have along with a laptop and burner. Back up - Back up - Back up... If they are that important.

I guess everyone is assuming 150X means super fast performance.
I found many companies claim high speeds but when I looked at their Data sheet, it is only for reading ability NOT wirting capability.

I just bought the Kingston ultimate SD card because they advertise their minimum writing speed which is superb. But I didn't try it on hand yet. However, my point is, make sure you know the writing speed of your card and don't just look at 120X, 133X, 150X !
