Sony MiniDV DCR-TRV22 Date and Time Printout

Hello, I'm needed to print out photos from my DCR-TRV22 with the time and date on the photo. It’s important that it's not added to the photo after leaving the camera because I work for a private investigator. Does anyone have an idea on how I can get it from the camera onto the computer with the date and time the photo was taken? I've checked the manual and I'm either not seeing it, or it's not there (if it's even possible).

Looking at the manual there does indeed not appear to be an automatic way to have the date/time added to the photo.

However the still images recorded to your memory stick have embedded exif information including date/time, various settings etc.

If the camera can not print onto the picture then your can view the exif information in XP or use an exif reader to pull up the data.

However exif info can be easily changed,deleted or added to an image, then again even if the cam' did embed date and time onto a photo you would always have been able to reset the cam to whatever date or time you wanted to "prove" the photo was taken at anyway...

So really having a photo with a date printed on it or exif info stating at what time it was taken means nothing really..
