does the S3 take advantage of high speed cards? I want the camera to be as responsive as possible. Should I invest $30-50 more for a high speed card or will I be ok with a normal Kingston 2GB card?
In his review Jeff says in order to take advantage of the high speed burst mode and the highest quality movie mode a high speed card is needed. I have an S2 and I don't think a 133x is needed, but I have a 133x and a 66x and I really don't notice a whole buch of difference between the two.

Since the price of a good Patriot 133x 2GB SD card is only $39.50 after rebate, I would go ahead and buy the higher speed card. I have a couple of the 1GB and a 2GB 133x Patriot for my S2 and they are very snappy. The 2GB cards are here: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=84509
For the price, they are hard to beat...:)

Yea.. i dont think I would need anything over 40x. I dont even wanna get close to a 133x unless I have a dSLR.
by "highest quality movie mode a high speed card is needed" did you mean 640x480 @30 fps? Hmm.. I guess either way I should be getting a high speed card huh. Afterall, I plan on owning this baby for a long time to come so I might as well get high end equipment to go with it.
I think I just answered my own questions.. sorry and thanks so much for your time =D

Good thing for you. BowerR64 I believe uses Scandisk if I remember correctly, but wait to hear back from him. I use Transcend.
Here are some reviews for you to look at

The last review was the one or simular to the one that made me give them a try. Even though it was about PC memory.
