Battery Indicator - S3 IS

Is there a battery indicator on the S3 IS or do I just have to wait until the batteries die?

Seems like all the Canons have a low battery indicator that shows up when there is only a little juice left. It's happened to me several times, but I've always had enough time to shutdown and change batteries.

It pops up on the LCD when its time.

Darn I was hopeing that it would show at all times :(
