Canon Sureshot A70

Canon Sureshot A70 3.2Megapixels
It displays all photos taken but will not take anymore. When i switch tp
o camera there is no display and when i click it flashes but only get blank photo.
is it worth repairing

I think you have the defective CCD. Canon knows there is a problem with the cameras and is doing a sort of "recall" on the cameras and fixing them free of charge. Contact them and get it fixed. They sometimes replace them with newer units or have an upgrade program you can send in your old camera and get a newer refurbished unit. Its a good camera though so if i was you ide get it fixed. No money out of your pocket so jump on it.

The A70s seem to be the most common unit affected byt the CCD problem. If you bang on the camera it may flicker and in somecases it will start working normaly again. Try that see what it does.
