Folks i have a Canon A75 Digital Camera that is probably out of of warranty (I have had it since end of 2004, very good camera, served me well)
I brought it to the golf course today because we had a tourney and i asked one of my friends to take a picture for me swinging the ball and he somehow dropped the camera on the grass (when it was open)
I don't know how serious the impact was but as of right now I can't close the lenses and turn off the camera completely. When i tried to turn it on, it will turn on but the image looks real blurry from the LCD (probably because the lenses have been exposed and could be dirty ?)
It will take pictures but the quality is so bad, the camera is almost useless now. I tried to take out the batteries, put them back in, turn it on/off multiple times but no go. The lenses are still open, probably there were some mechanisms inside that were affected after the drop ?
I don't know where I put the manual so if you guys have any ideas to fix this or rectify the problems, please go ahead. I will bring it to the camera store tomorrow to see what's up. Do you expect it to be a pricey fix ? The prices of digital cams have gone down significantly lately so if it's expensive to fix this problem, i might just get something else and definitely will have to be more careful next time.
Thanks in advance folks.
