Have you ever wanted to take a low light photo without flash or a nightshot but the lack of tripod pushed you to hanheld shots and your photos looked shaked? Of course you did and probably many times!
So, here is a new 7900 tweak "VR_Tweak" that can possibly solve your problems.

I'm trying to refine it more (if possible) but the first results are very encouraging.
So I thought I can let you see a sneak preview.

So far the refinement process looks very limited with the adjustments I can do with the offered camera's options.

In worst case though, I will finaly posted as is of now. That will make you able to print excellent 5x7 photos and with a little post processing even very good A4 sizes..

There are 2 sets of sample images. In each set there is a picture taken at default settings and without flash and a picture taken at tweaked settings without flash. Download all 4 of them and compare each set next to each other on an imag editor.

The images have been downsized to 1600 x 1200 where you can make nice 5x7 printouts.

This "VR_Tweak" works possibly for the 5900/P1/P2 and probably can improve the results of the P3/P4.

You need to test this yourselves to your cameras and if possible post your feedback.

Regards to all and here is the direct link to the first comparison samples:

How good the "VR Tweak" works generally?
Here is some sample images taken with the 7900 using the "VR Tweak" and compared with the images from my Panasonic FZ5 that has real image stabilizer.

1st row are 7900 images.
2nd row are FZ5's images.
